We convert the most popular camcorder and VCR analog and digital video tape formats to DVD. Our video to DVD transfer service includes home movie conversion of the older VHS, SVHS, VHS-C, and SVHS-C videotape types to DVD, followed by the smaller more recent camcorder size video cassettes like Video8 (sometimes called 8mm), Hi8, Digital8 and Mini-DV videotapes. We support digital video conversions in NTSC (North American) broadcast standard formats. All of your videotapes are handled with care while the video conversion to DVD process and post-production work are underway. Your digitized videos will always be encoded at a higher than standard rate to ensure that you get the best results your video tapes can offer, without the contribution of unnecessary compression artifacts and video noise byproducts that would certainly be introduced at lower encode rates. We would rather provide you with more DVD disks than give you poor quality. As an additional benefit and at no extra cost, we will edit out those annoying blue screens, very poor video segments and long stretches of nothing; – like those moments of forgetting to turn off your camera. Our aim is to provide watchable and entertaining video rather than include useless footage on your newly minted DVD disk(s). Our high quality movie film to DVD conversion process offers new life to your home movie collection, whether you have standard 8mm films, Super 8 films or 16mm movie films to transfer to DVD. Once digitized and transferred to DVD, your family films would be fun and easy to watch right in the comfort of your living room. Calibrated to broadcast standards, your converted movie films are adjusted to bring out the best possible color richness and contrast levels for which film is known, while keeping any apparent film grain aspects to a minimum. Blacks are deep and whites are crisp; -all without creating hotspots and not losing the original image detail at the same time. Our process attempts to keep the true character of the home movie itself and that is what makes it so great to watch.

Each extra copy is fully packaged just like the one included with your order. If you would like to have the copies burned onto additional DVD-RW discs, add $10.00 per disc.

DVD Slideshows (Silent) We will author a wonderful slideshow based on your converted slides or photos with subtle zoom and pan effects for that extra professional feel. A single DVD slideshow disc can hold approximately median scanned 1500 images per disk. A DVD menu is also generated so you can navigate to the different "life chapters" on the DVD. DVD Slideshows (Sound) This option is nearly identical to the silent option above with the exception of added background music to make the slideshow a more lively experience. We can also provide your personal narration to the slideshow different sections. Various music tracks will play throughout the entire slideshow. There will be no synchronization or editing of the music tracks to the slides. Each track will play to its end, followed by the next track until the slideshow ends. You provide the music that is appealing.

Transferring your 35mm slides, 35mm film strips or photos to DVD is a great step forward in saving your family memories from disappearing forever. Using true high resolution optical scanning devices ensure exceptional results in preserving any of the remaining image detail and to enable the true colors of your photographic materials to pop out. Whether as film negatives or positives, mounted or un-mounted, we will organize, then convert your 35mm film slides, 35mm film negatives, 35mm film strips, 126 film size, 127 film size, 110 film size or photos into a graphic file format of your choosing ready for recording to DVD media. Lightly compressed JPEG is used by default. Ask us about other graphic file formats that will work for you (TIFF, RAW, TARGA etc.) We can take your collection of photo and 35mm film materials whether stored in carousels, cartridges, bags, paper sleeves, albums and cases or just sitting loose in the bottom of a box and transfer them to DVD. All photo or film scanned product delivered can be optionally recorded onto archival DVD media to ensure long term storage and reliable recovery of your photographic memories.
